Asmir Begovic has signed a new long-term deal with Sells Goalkeeper Products.

Since joining the brand in 2009, Begovic has been a tremendous ambassador and shares a close relationship with brand owner and MD Adam Sells.

Begovic’s long-term commitment will see him develop a new line of gloves, which will be launched next summer.

The F3 line is being designed with our product guru Mat Booth and Begovic is thrilled to be involved in the development.

“It is a real passion of mine and I am delighted to be involved for many years to come in the development of the brand and its products.

“I cannot wait to see the new gloves hit the market and I hope goalkeepers can identify with what I like in a glove.”

The F3 collection will bear a woven “AB” tab to underline the part Begovic will play in the process.

Managing Director Adam Sells is understandably delighted to continue the relationship with Asmir.

“He really is an exceptional guy. One I really admire. He is a pleasure to be around and I just love his enthusiasm for the brand.”

Fourteen lucky goalkeepers were selected to attend an exclusive training session, on the 25^th October, for the launch of ‘Sells Pro Training’ with special guests Asmir Begovic, Julian Speroni and Tom King. TV cameras from ITV and Sky Sports were also in attendance.

The session took place at the Elmbridge Sports Hub, Walton-On-Thames, the new home of Walton Casuals. The goalkeepers all attend Sells Pro Training weekly classes and came from all over the country for the event. It was a great experience to learn from Premier League goalkeepers.

One of the participants, Noah Setterfield, from Doncaster, said “It was like a dream. I couldn’t believe it.”

AFC Bournemouth keeper and Sells Goalkeeper Products Brand Ambassador, Asmir Begovic said: “When I was asked to get involved with this project I jumped at the opportunity. “I was once that young guy, striving to be a top class goalkeeper and the fact that we are able to help boys and girls improve with structured coaching gives me immense satisfaction.”

Asmir, Julian and Tom were all impressed with the standard the young goalkeepers showed during the session. It was an amazing day for the budding young keepers to get top class goalkeeper coaching and advice from such top professionals.
